Why Intake Vents Matter

Roof turbines are designed to exhaust hot, moist air from the top of the container. But for air to move out efficiently, fresh air must also be able to enter.

The included intake vents create dedicated entry points for replacement air, helping the turbine vents produce better airflow through the container rather than pulling only through small door gaps or random leaks.

For a 40' container, the two-turbine and twenty-intake-vent setup is designed to provide airflow across the full length of the container.

Sealant is not included.

For proper installation, we recommend Chem Link M-1 Structural Adhesive/Sealant. M-1 is designed for exterior bonding and sealing applications involving metal flashing and roofing materials.

Do not use standard silicone caulk, latex caulk, roof cement, or sealants not intended for exterior metal roofing and flashing applications.

Important Fit Note

Fits standard 3.5" shipping container roof corrugation only.

The AdaptAIR™ roof adapter is not designed for 3", 5.5", or 6.5" ribs, and it is not intended for side-wall installation.
